Installing A Pickguard On Your Guitar

Question:
What do I need to do to add a pickguard on my guitar?
Thanks!

Answer:
They sell self adhesive pickguards in some music stores.   I know for sure Martin makes them.   Make sure the radius is matched around the soundhole.   You may want to have one professionally installed to make sure you are satisfied with the result.

www.dscustom.com sells Gibson style and teardrop style clear plastic pickguards that have no adhesive but just stick to the guitar without affecting the finish at all. (via static electricity or something like that phenomenon)  If it moves, just lift it up and put it back where you want it.  $10.00 buys two. They don't make any for parlor size guitars with less than a 4" diameter sound hole but the teardrop style works fairly well.
